Seamless Medical Centers is investing $2.8 million in a new interventional radiology facility in the 3300 block of Highway 365 in Port Arthur. The project will expand access to minimally invasive care for patients across Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, and create nine full-time jobs.

What the New Facility Will Offer
The new facility will focus on interventional radiology. Interventional radiology (IR) is a medical specialty that uses imaging, such as X-ray and ultrasound, to guide treatment through a tiny incision instead of open surgery. Most patients have less pain, fewer risks, and a faster recovery.
Care will include:
- Joint pain: non-surgical options for chronic knee pain and frozen shoulder
- Vascular care: including treatment for peripheral artery disease (PAD)
- Dialysis access: creating and maintaining fistulas for dialysis patients
- Pain management: minimally invasive procedures for long-term pain
The facility will also support medical research, helping bring new treatment options to our region.
The investment covers building renovations, infrastructure, and new equipment, with work to be completed by April 30, 2027.
Nine New Full-Time Jobs For Port Arthur
The project will create nine full-time jobs, with at least three filled by Port Arthur residents. The Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation (PAEDC) estimates this will mean about $900,000 in payroll for Port Arthur residents over three years.
How the City of Port Arthur Is Supporting the Project
The PAEDC board approved a conditional incentive of up to $391,000 at a special meeting on August 13, and the Port Arthur City Council considered final approval in September.
The incentive is performance-based. It’s paid only if Seamless meets its investment and hiring goals:
- Up to $280,000 in reimbursement for capital improvements, paid after invoices and proof of payment
- Up to $37,000 a year for three years, starting in 2027, for jobs filled by Port Arthur residents

- Aug. 13: PAEDC board approves the conditional incentive
- September: Port Arthur City Council considers the agreement
- Early 2027: Expected opening
- By April 30, 2027: $2.8 million in renovations, infrastructure, and equipment complete
- Through December 31, 2029: Nine full-time jobs maintained
